Description

SKY Helicopters operates one-on-one helicopter training under FAA Parts 61 and 141 from its Garland/DFW Heloplex base.

Programs include initial and add-on Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor and Airline Transport Pilot training. Students use Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters, including an instrument-equipped R44, plus an FAA-approved configurable helicopter simulator for visual and instrument practice.

The company also offers introductory flights, aircraft rental, financing resources and guidance for eligible veteran benefits. Its broader commercial helicopter services include Dallas-area tours, aerial photography and video and electronic news-gathering operations.
