Description

Skydive Vermont is the public operating name of the nonprofit Malone Parachute Club at Franklin County State Airport in northern Vermont. The volunteer-run club offers tandem first jumps and a static-line progression that moves students from ground training and assisted deployment into freefall.

The drop zone also supports experienced jumpers with coaching, rental equipment, rigging and gear services, load organizing, indoor packing and classroom space. Its jump fleet includes a Super Cessna 182 and a standard Cessna 182.

The operation began as Malone Parachute Center in New York in 1971, became the Malone Parachute Club in 1977, moved to its present Vermont airport in 2008 and adopted the Skydive Vermont brand in 2020.
