Description
Skydive Wissota is a Chippewa Falls drop zone with more than 40 years of skydiving experience. New jumpers can choose a tandem or enter a six-hour static-line first-jump course, beginning with a solo jump from 3,000 feet and progressing through supervised freefall skills toward the 25-jump requirements for a USPA A License.
The operation is based at private Lake Wissota Airport (4WI0) and flies three Cessna 182 Skylanes. Student equipment includes ram-air parachutes, automatic activation devices and radio guidance, while the facility provides indoor packing, a classroom and lounge, showers, camping and RV space, and Wi-Fi.
