USAFA Flight Training Center & Aero Club operates at the U.S. Air Force Academy Airfield.

The FAA Part 141 club offers Private Pilot and Instrument Rating programs, ground school and instruction from FAA-certified flight instructors. Its rental fleet includes Cessna 172 and Cessna 182 aircraft configured for primary, instrument, cross-country and high-performance flying.

A full-motion Redbird MCX advanced aviation training device supports private, instrument, commercial and proficiency work. Membership is limited to eligible military, academy, government, contractor, dependent and Civil Air Patrol communities, while authorized visitors may arrange discovery flights.
