About UND Aerospace Phoenix Flight Training Center
UND Aerospace Phoenix Flight Training Center operates on the flight line at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in partnership with Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
Students may follow a two-year Airway Science Technology degree pathway with options to continue at UND, or a 12-month non-credit accelerated professional-pilot program. Both routes use FAA Part 141 curricula with in-house examining authority and training from Private Pilot through Commercial, multi-engine, CFI and CFII stages; MEI training is also available.
The standardized glass-cockpit fleet includes Piper Archers, Piper Seminoles and Cessna 172s, supported by matching Frasca aviation training devices and UND's Part 145 maintenance system.
