Who can apply
Applicants must be children of medically retired, long-term disabled, or deceased ALPA pilot members and be entering or attending an accredited undergraduate program principally creditable toward a bachelor's degree.
What the award may cover
One four-year award provides $15,000 per year for a total of $60,000 while the recipient maintains a 3.0 GPA. A second recipient receives a $10,000 single-year undergraduate scholarship.
