EAA's annual flight-training portfolio combines dozens of donor-funded opportunities in one application. Awards support new and advancing pilots across glider, primary, commercial, instructor, endorsement, and advanced-rating pathways at eligible U.S. and Canadian schools.
Who can apply
Applicants must be at least 16 and meet the criteria of the matched named award. International applicants may apply if they will train in the United States or Canada and can prove eligibility to study there. EAA membership is not required, but members and active chapter participants receive preference.
What the award may cover
Awards may fund approved non-university flight training in the United States or Canada for a glider, sport, recreational, or private certificate, advanced rating, endorsement, commercial certificate, instructor qualification, or other named-award objective.
How to apply
Submit EAA's single centralized scholarship application and one non-relative recommendation between October 1 and December 19. The system matches applicants to all named flight-training awards for which they qualify.

Selection and application notes
