The SMS-Pro Aviation Safety Management Scholarship develops future safety leaders across flight, maintenance, air traffic control, airport operations, and related disciplines. Its essay-centered application rewards applicants who connect Safety Management System principles to real aviation experience.
Who can apply
Applicants from any aviation discipline may apply. Enrollment in an aviation university, college, training program, or recognized safety-management course is encouraged, though the sponsor states it is not mandatory. Previous winners may apply again in later periods.
What the award may cover
The $1,000 award is paid to the recipient's university, college, or aviation training program and may support education connected to aviation safety or Safety Management Systems.
How to apply
Complete the sponsor's application and submit one Word document containing three original essays of at least 500 words each, selected from the eight published aviation-safety topics.
