Aviation Institute of Maintenance - Charlotte is an FAA Part 147 aviation-maintenance technician school accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.

The Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate combines classroom instruction with practical work on aircraft, airframes, engines and systems. The 51,000-square-foot campus contains 17 classrooms and a 25,000-square-foot hangar housing seven aircraft, including a Learjet and a helicopter.

Day and evening schedules, qualifying financial aid, international-student authorization and career-placement assistance are available. The campus also offers a separate Industrial Manufacturing Technician diploma.
