The ISTAT Foundation supports university students who plan careers across the commercial aviation industry. Its scholarship process is institution-led: participating universities nominate qualified students, who are then invited to submit a full application.
Who can apply
Candidates must be nominated by an eligible university, normally have completed at least one undergraduate year or be in graduate study, demonstrate financial need, meet the equivalent of a 3.0 GPA, and study an aviation-related field. Students seeking only a professional pilot career are not eligible.
What the award may cover
Scholarship funding is applied to tuition for an aviation-related university program and is not intended for stand-alone pilot training.
How to apply
Students cannot apply directly. A participating university nominates candidates, and selected nominees receive an invitation to complete the Foundation application.
