Airplane Cost Sharing: Fly for less than driving

If you like to fly a lot, cost sharing is a great way to own an aircraft and not spend an arm and leg for renting.  Purchase an aircraft with 2 or 3 friends and split all the costs.  This is much more affordable than buying an airplane all by yourself.  You just need to make sure you pick the right partners.  If you only plan on flying a few hours a month,  stick to renting.
